Time flies as usual in good company with 3 sweethearts who we just love to peaces.
They are very courius now, and hard to keep safe in the birthbox.
Actually this is the longest I have held any litters in a birthbox,but I think they will move in to the kitchen in our kittenrun sometimes before 4 w of age.

We have decidet to keep Voodoo Dancer. I hope and think he can give us much in our future breeding program.

The little tortie will either stay home or move to a friend. We know for sure in few weeks.

The charming siamese boy is still much much bigger than his siblings and have given me alot of greay hairs about his colour.
Some days he was blue,somedays he was seal, with a strange colour in his face and hardly nothing on his legs.
My conclution is that he must be smoke.
But only time will tell if I am right about it.

The kittens will be PRA testet this weekend,and then we will send the tests back to Australia.

Today are the babies 2 weeks old. Actually the siamese boy was born around exactly this time in the morning.
He was nr 1, and are still nr 1. He think he need most food, he want food all the time,he is the biggest and he got the strongest voice. Oh dear, he can scream. I wonder where he has that from? I belive his auntie, Fayette's sister. Because Fayette and Disco are very sweet cats with normal volume of their voice.

He will be a very talkactive charming little man when he grows :-)

And the girl, beautiful Fetisha. She had other plans this morning, than modelling for me. She is very much alike Fayette in her personality, a very sweet girl. She is very calm now,but that can change in few weeks. Maby she will be the wildest one?
We love her colourful fur. Even orientals are born with their colour, torties change alot while they are growing. I wonder what she will look like in 10 weeks,how much red her coat will have.

And our blackie at last.
He is a middle thing between his siblings.Sometimes he is very silent,and sometimes he actually has something to tell - but still he is very calm, compearing with his brother. And we like that alot,since we consider him to stay home :-)

Today our babies are 1 w old.
They are very different in type and personalites and are just so much fun for all of us.
Milla is still very happy for her Auntie-babies and are close by them in every awake moment.
Fayette loves to have company in the birthbox.

All of them has opened their eyes,and they are so beautiful.

We got also a big big surprise today, from Russia.
A very nice friend over seas did buy me a very special doll.
I was just so happy, but it was really no need to buy me such an expensive doll.

Kittens 1 day old

I hope the camera and weather listen to my wish, so I can publish pictures every week.
We choose to put to sleep the smallest baby, so now they are 3 strong babies left.
Fayette has proven her birthline is the best, she is a fantastic mommy.
Milla who loves babies is always to be find in the birthbox. Fayette loves the company.

It has been 1 year since my last siamese litter,and I was so happy when the first boy was a siamese baby.
He was huge allready then,and are growing nicly. He loves the milkbar and hang around in every awake moment.
I think my big wish of a sealpointed will not be heard from the color fairy this time :-)
Maby blue og chocolate? Well, in few days we might see what he really is.

The girl is sometimes silverish, and sometimes just very colourful non-silver.
Patient is needet.

The last one is pure black and such a beauty.

All of them have strong chins, good lenghts and nice profiles, so I am courius of their development.

It's so nice to have babies in our home again, and I hope everyone who visit our blog also will enjoy their jurney - from little innocent babies to naughty charmers in few weeks.

This litter is named after songs from Ozzy Osbourne - we went to a consert with him last Summer - a memory for lifetime,so we decidet some kittens had to have names from his songs in future.

Early this morning they were ready to enter the world.
The birth went so easy, so Fayette is following her mother-line. That is so good to know,and it is also an important breeding qualitee.

4 babies - 3 boys and 1 girl.
One of the boys are very weak,so I think he will pass the rainbow brigde.
The others are big and strong.
Breeding are good times and sad times, but I am happy, if we can loose those who are not ment to be as early as possible,even it hurts.

Disco Dancer OSH d(24) and our black happy hurrican (N)Attack's Fayette OSH n(s).

These babies are probably not for sale any of them.

Happy neuter life and new plans

Our sweetheart Penny will not be used in breeding.
She have had some heavy calls and should really have been mated - but she will not let any boy come near her.

Since the calling are so heavy and Penny is a very slim girl, I will not be gambling with her at all.
I will not sit with a superskinny cat because of heavy callings who maby gets pyometra and then will be laying on the operation table very sick - that is my worst nightmare because Penny is our sunshine.

When Penny is not calling she is snuggling with everyone,also the boys - maby she just don't want to have her own babies? 2 siblings are in breeding in other catteries,so the lines can be brought back later .

Instead we will mate Pennys halfsister Fayette, who have the same elegance and personality- God forbid a little more naughty:-)

Pearls babies is expected any days now and we are looking very much forward to them and hopes everything goes well.

This weekend the World Winner Show was in Poland.
Alot of beautiful cats were in hard competition. In my eyes the competition was especially hard in the Youngster class 6-9 month.All of them were worth the tittle.
One of Millas siblings was joining the party - "Gecko" or S*Cross-Bow Crest Hooked on a Feeling , OSH n 24.
He is a very beautiful cat and very much alike his sister.
At Saturday he was Nominated and we were crossing fingers hard for him.

At Sunday we were waiting and still crossing fingers, and he won!!!
So now he got the tittle World Winner 2011.

HUGE congratulation to the breeders Yvonne and Wilhelm at S*Cross-Bow Crest and his owner Anna Gerbert at S*Limericks.
We are so so happy for you all. I can just imagne all the happy tears and joy when they said his name in the final.

Milla is proud to have the worlds must beautiful brother, and so I am too!!

Nothing much happening here at the moment, but it will soon change :-)
Today it has been a nice day. Too cold at spend outside,but inside-sunbathing is ok too.
And play with feather-sticks - then the day is ultimate.

We have also a little spider in the house. Normally I don't like them - but this spider is one of a kind.

I love the Autum if it is sunny outside,and today it was one of those days.
First today I want to share pictures of Fayette. She is developing to be a extremly elegant girl and her eyes are dark sharp green.

Milla became friends with the others in only 4 days and I think she love her new life here in Norway. She is getting more beautiful every day.

Omar must be the funniest personality in the entire world -he makes us laugh many times a day. And he is so super-friendly that not even Leo - who normally want his girls for himself take any notice of it.

Scandinavian Winner 2011 - Junior class

Scandinavian Winner this year was held in Sweden.
Alot of beautiful cats where participated.
I was not there,but like many others we were following from the internet.

When I went to work this morning, I was crossing fingers very hard expecially for two finalists.
S*CrossBow-Crest Hell of a Lady - sister - and S*CrossBow-Crest Hooked on a Feeling - brother.
Those two beauties are litter siblings to my wonderful "Milla".

I have recent come home from my work, and we are just so so proud and happy for Yvonne and the owner of one certain cat.

S*CrossBow-Crest Hooked on a Feeling OSH n24 became Scandinavian Winner 2011 this year. Hooray!!!!

We wish you all the best in future dear brother - both at the show bench and future breeding.

Omar is finally home!

All this waiting,and finally the day was here.
By the end of last week I had visit from Mr and Mrs Scalindjo from The Netherlands - Roel and Desiree Knoop.
The days went too fast,but I hope they had a nice visit in my home. I had a great time even the weather did not show up from its best side.

And they had with them alot of "storage" :-))

I got home my wonderful birth box,who a nice private person in Holland has made for me. What an art!! I am really looking forward to use it. You will see pictures of that one later,when it is in use.
I got a lof of presents and the cats got a lot of presents - crazy guests :-))

But the best is the boys.

Omar was love at first sight,but it was not the meaning that he would be mine. Actually neither of us knew his future before he was 4 mnd old. And he is a cinnamon (with white). A colour I have no relation with at all. I am a black and chocolate spottet by colour favourites.
But after seen this colour together with the white it is really nice.

Desiree has also wonderful wonderful temper on all her cats, and I think that is the best with my love of my life.
Omar is something special, he is really the sweetest boy I have ever meet.
And he is so elegant and lovly in type.
He was not ment to be my stud,at least not in the long termes. He will sire a very few litters,and then get chipped with Suplerion Chip or get neutred. He is first of all my big and sweet couddle monster.
We are just waiting for his first girlfriend to call.
In the mean time he is buisy charming everyone.
Really, noone of my other cats has said one "bad word" to him, who can get angry at such a purring personalty.

And with Omar also Disco came.
Disco is a red spottet charmer from Russia. He is one of Desiree's own studs.
He will only be guesting,and will return back to Holland a little later.
Disco is also a wonderful boy with a very sweet temper. He is very fertil,so it was not easy to make pictures of him - out on our porch.
He was buisy spraying his perfume all over :-)
We are planning for now 2 litters with him , but time will tell.

I am very greatful to have this chance to use him and to own Omar.

Welcome home "Milla"

Finally ,after month with waiting,she is finally home!! All I can say is WOW!!! She is so beautiful and her temper is so sweet.
It has not been a surprice that spottet orientals has a special place in my heart,and when my "Millas'" mommy was a baby, I fell in love with her right away.
This has been a dream came true, to have this beautiful daughter.
Her name is S*CrossBow-Crest Hot Lips,and she is an OSH b 24.
Breed by Yvonne Lubkowitz.

Now we will use the time to get to know her,and she us.

Thank you Yvonne,once again,for letting me have my dream of my life.

The latest news on (N)Attack's Please Please Me

Our little very talkactive and sweet boy, who moved to Argentina this Spring has earned the JW tittle.
This is really fun,both for me and his wonderful owner.
And on all this shows, he has had competition with alot of other beautiful kittens and youngsters - so therfor this tittle is well deserved.

Here is our little Prince when he was about 3w old, allready a charming and demanding little sweetheart :

The most difficult choice of my life:-(

The couple of last days have been really like my worst nightmare.

Our funny,charming and sweet oriental girl, Sushi broke her leg Easter 2011. At the age of 7 month old.

I want allways to give my cats a chance if it’s possible, and it also depend on the cat and the prognosis.

But Sushi is such a brave girl with a strong personality.

She got a heavy fixarator in her foot,and the healing prosess did start.

The recovery took almost 3 month.

The first weeks she was living in my bedroom,and later she moved down with the others.

Especially her half sister, Pearl was her best comfort in all the period.

When she was fully recovered again I was so happy for her. We all were.

A couple of days ago, Sushi and the rest of our girls was racing in the livingroom and had a real fun time.

They do that,every evening.

But sudden Sushi was limping, and yes, the same foot was broken again:-(

I have spoken with some of my closest friends,and there is so many different opinions.

But I needet all those opinions, and are very greatful to have such good friends close to me.

The only thing I did decide there and then, was that Sushi shall not have a new operation with maby even a longer recovery period.

Cats are the masters of hiding their pain,and I can just imagne what she was going trough after the first operation.

Even with pain medicaments.

One round is worth it, but not 2 – for me – thinking of all the pain for her.

When 1 of 3 possibilities was not an option, I am standing back with either amputation of her bad leg, or put her to sleep.

I have search the internet for all the info I could get,and are back to 50/50, of everything I have been reading about it.

My heart wants one thing,and my head says something else.

I have also been spoken with the Vet who helped Sushi the first time.

Her best advide was a new operation. But no no no!!! I do not want Sushi to go trough it one more time.

An amputation is less expensive, but there is both positive and negative sides with that too. And we talked for a long time.

It is better for an animal to loose a back leg,then a front leg,since the weight point of the body is over 60% on the front legs.

But some animals can feel fantoom pain,some cats will develop a forever sadness.

And of course everything can go very well.

Every operation is a risk, no operation is 100% safe,and Sushi seems to be born under an unlucky star.

It is not often a leg will be re-broken like this, but the upper back leg is a heavy bone to heal.

I have spoken again with some of my friends,even watched videos of 3 legged cats on youtube.

They seems all so happy.

But it feels very wrong for me. To loose an ear or both,the tail, or a toe, even all the teeth, that is one thing,but to loose a leg?

I know when Sushi broke her leg the firs time, we did not have time to think. We had to act. Then it was trying to save the leg,but if the operation went wrong on the table, please amputate.

At the same time, I am wondering if an amputation is the best for an animal or the best thing to do for the owner.

Noone want to be sepparated with the one we love,somethimes we think and act with our hearts and somethimes with our heads.

Somethimes with both.

Because of this happening, Pearl will not move out as a happy neuter yet.

I am back home.

My last visit with the dentist and Sushi was with me.

Sushi has been snuggle in my lap,she was purring and watched me carefully with hope in her eyes. But hoping for what?

A hope to grow old with me,the only human mommy she have ever known, or the hope of let the pain go away?

But maby I did make the right choice?

The Vet told me,even I knew, that cats lives right now, they do not think of the future. They don’t know what we are planning for them.

Sushi did not know I was taking her with me to the hospital to let her pain go, forever.

I hope Sushi will be reborn in a healthy body someday so I can have her back in my arms and kiss her, telling her how much I love her.

I hope she understood I wanted to best for her,and not the best for me.

I hope she is a happy angel,who can watch over all her friends,and even get some new friends in heaven.

I hope she had a happy life here with me,even it was too short.

Breeding is ups and downs,but this time it is the regular person, not the breeder in me who is writing and has made the final choice.

I have been crying all day and I know I will regret the rest of my life for my dessision.

This time I made the dessision with my head,and my heart is forever bleeding.

Rest in Peace, our wonderful brave girl, Sushi.

Your life became too short,but I will never regret that I kept you as a kitten. You gave me so much in all thinkable positive ways.

I did let your pain go,and I hope you can forgive me since I also took your life away from you.

Fayette 18 weeks

Our sweetheart,Fayette is still hanging around us :-)
I love her more and more each day goes by,both on her inside and outside.

Because of very sad circumstances,Fayette will stay with us.
I will be forever greatful to the breeder who suppose to have her in short time. It was hers suggestion.
We will anyway cooperate in future.

A little update of many things

At the moment it is very silent in our Cattery.
One of Major and Maidens babies has left to her fosterhome,where she will be living until her owner is ready to take her home.
The best home a future happy neuter could have.
Siouxsie Sioux will be living in Hungary with a very good friend of mine. She is study on the Vetrinarian School down there. Her sister have 2 cats from me in the past,and her mother has also 1 cat from me.
Siouxsie Sioux will be living with 2 very sweet orientals.
It became so silent when she left. Because she is a clone of her sweet father,and talks and purrs all the time.

Her sister Fayette will be staying here a little longer,but sometimes in the end of the Summer she will also move abroad.
She love beeing a single child,and get alot of attention from all her babysitters:-)
Both the girls has developed a very nice elegance and got wonderful green eyes. I am very pleased with them,and both got super temper.
Fayette has become more and more alike her halfsister Penny in her attitued,even the same voice.

"Sushi", pedigree name (N)Attack's Devils Daughter broke her foot end of Easter. It was a nasty break but she has been such a brave girl for sevreal of weeks. But she was lucky after all. Her break up could be fixed with a fixarator, so she did not need to be put in a cage with totally no movements for 6 weeks. She have been able to walk on her food all the time.
This would not been possible without one suuuuuuuper vetrinarian at Sørlandets Dyreklinkk , Kristin and her team. We are forever greatful for all the help.
Sushi had the fixarator on her foot for 10 weeks. This breed is very caring for eachother,but her closest friend of them all is her halfsister Pearl.
This Monday 4th of July she was fully recovered!!

At the breeding front we will see what happens. Our SYS boy, Leo has been mated 2 of the girls here. We don't know if he is ready to make babies yes, he is only 1 year old.
In next week he will be put on the Suplerion Chip,so he will be temporary neutred. We have made that dessision because he stress alot and have no time to coudle.
If we will not have babies after him this year,we will have later.

Our gentle and sweet boys, Omar and Disco will arrive with us in end of Summer,so we will have some exiting combinations this Winther if the cats agrees with my plans.

We are also waiting for 3 more PRA tests,and hopfully we know in end of next week. Crossing fingers :-) The result will be published later on my page and Pawpeds .

And a new wonderful creature will hopfully move in to us later this year as well.
All I can say, it is a girl. When and from who, will be kept as a secret until my dreams comes true :-)

Kittens 12 weeks

On Sunday the babies are 12 weeks old. Both the girls has developed very harmonic personalities. They are very similar to Maidens litter last year,so I am very pleased with them. Outgoing,naughty and very courius.
And finally the eye colour is getting stronger and stronger,and GREEN. I love their eye colour very much.
Siouxie is the big charmer in the litter,and she talk and talk and are so sweet. She want to be with us everywhere and love to help out. I know a charmer like that,and that is her father, Major.
And she simply adore plushed toys. Big or small,no difference, they can be carry around and grrrrrrr,noone dear to steel them from her:-)
Fayette is the typey model, so elegant, she looks like a black shiny porcelain statue. She have a little more stubborn personality, and know very well what she loves and what she dislike. I belive she will be very much alike her mother in both type and personality. A wannabe tortie, but I love them :-)

11 weeks on Sunday

Another week has gone, and our sweethearts are 1 week older. It is getting closer and closer for their moving out day, and that feels a little sad. At least I have the whole June and half part of July with them.
Today I tried to make some pictures outside. We have sun and lovly weather,but it is a little windy.
The light in the pictures is the result of a very pink iglo bed and the sun. They have not change in to chocolate silvers :-)

The eye colour has started to change now. In doors they have a very nice green colour,but I have not caught it on my camera yet.

Maiden loves her babies very much,and is a super mommy. She was a super mommy on her earlier litter as well,but since she have only 2 babies this time,she have so much more energy to enjoy them all the time. Even if they are only 2,they have manage to give her alot of grey hairs:-) She still think sometimes they should listen more to her,sometimes she think also they don't know to walk properly. Strict but very loving. Her babies do not listen so much to any of her advices,but that's another story :-)

10 weeks old and Summertime

On Sunday the kittens will be 10 weeks old. I wonder why the weeks always runs too fast.
Their vaccine went very well. They got a little fever and slept the whole Monday,so it was very silent in the house.
But after their long beautysleep they were high and low the next morning. So very normal reaction.

The Summer has arrived in South of Norway and we hope it will stay nice and warm for a long time. The Spring has been very wet,at least May was:-)
All the cats are very happy about the high temperatures outside and enjoy the porch very much.
This year it goes in lilac and green.
We will decorate some more,but are allready half done.

Today I did caught my beautiful Maiden with my camera. She is a very seldom object :-) Maiden is the mother of our sweet twins. I think both of them looks alot of her,but in very different ways.

Another week past by and now our babies are 9 weeks old.
Their eye colour has started to change,so in a week or more, they should have green eyes.
I love it when the eye colour is slow with the changing,and hopfully both girls will have wonderful green eyes in the end:-)
Next week we are starting with the vacination so they will be ready for their new homes in July/August.

Another week is gone,and our baby girls has now the whole house to run freely in.
They love it.
Unlucky for us, the weather is gray and rainy. So the kittens are 7.5 w old on the pics.
I love both girls so much, and both are in my eyes very beautiful - but very different.
And one loves the camera,the other is not photogentic at all.
Both of them has still baby blue eyes, so I am very exiting for their eye colour. I belive there will be a big change of wonderful green eyes on them both soon. ( I have not made any yellow eyed oriental yet )

Fayette is so stylish,tender and just a little beauty who loves "smiling" on camera.
I love her type very much,and I love her eyes. She looks like she have eyliner on them and a wonderful shape.
She is very much alike her mother and grandmother,and have much of her American type.
Fayette will never be an extreme of type kitten , but she have my dream type - the mix between European and American -but I can not see many fault of her either. Time will tell when she grows up and has develop more.

Her sister have no time. Titania is the chubby tomboy sister who rearly sitt still. She have no time for that.

Beside her chubby body, Titania is a very big,happy and healthy girl. She have shiny black coat and also beautiful eyes.
And I love her temper. She is the most funny kitten we have had in our home for ages.She is somethimes a little too outgoing - our little whild black panther. A little clone of their father,but without the spots.
We have also change her name on her pedigree. She will allways be Titania in our home,but her new owners came up with such lovly pet name for her,and I asked if they wanted it in the papers too:-) Her new name : Siouxsie Sioux

Last night I saw some very funny pictures. Our tortie "Sushi" - (N)Attack's Devils Daughter have 3 very handsome brothers.
One of them is (N)Attack's Charmed - SIA n - called "The Prince" by his new family.
He has a wonderful new family in the North of Norway, where he has a very various life.

I don't know if it is his housecat brother Zim who has learned him the tricks of hunting,or if he just have a hidden gift :-) Maby a little of both:-) This is a really happy siamese neuter boy!!
He is so proud of everything he is hunting,and somethimes want to show the humans inside in house..... in their beds!!!
I am SO HAPPY the only thing who comes in my bed is hunted and killed socks,fabric mice or other toys :p

I love to see new pictures of all my babies who has been born in our home. And some of those I love to share with you.

7 weeks + a visit

This weekend I have had visit of 2 good friends. All the adults and the kittens was very pleased of the visit,because the guests luuuuuves cats. They have played,charmed,begging for food at the table (and the guest gave them too :-) and slept with them in the bed.
I had a very nice time too.

Today as we are speaking,the kittens have got more space to run in. We have open up for them to the other part of the livingroom,and now they are everywhere - and just love it!!
The kittens are very sweet,love new things and are very courius.....too courius if you ask their mommy, Maiden:-)

Our sweety,"Sushi" with her broken foot are doing very well. The Vets gave her a fixarator,so she do not need to live in a cage for 6 weeks. We are all very happy for that.

And Penny who have never seen yarn before was very exiting!! She was ready to go with them,when they left. The best guests she have ever had :-))

My weekly photoes depends on the weather,since I prefer to make the pictures outside. And in the weekend,when they turn 7 weeks it will be raining...most likly :-)
The kittens are now both in the kitchen and smallest livingroom and are very happy for that.

Their personalities are really differen now.
Titania is a little charming bully and Fayette is the sweet princess who are only watching all the naughtyness her sister are doing.
As I told in the start of the birth, this is the smallest litter I have ever had. But they have energi for 4 kittens at least,so 2 super happy kittens is really enough this time.
And now there is no doubt about Fayette is silver. She formally shines:-)

I am happy both the girls has so wonderful homes waiting for them, also by people who know the breed inside out. Because there is very much oriental "extreme behaviur" in them both.
I love them both so much,even they give me some new grey hairs every single day:-)

Omar,our future little handyman is still living in Holland.
But in the end of the Summer he will come to us.
He is such a sweetheart. Very helpfull and not afraid of anything.
He loves to snuggle with the dogs and love to help out with painting,building a new kitchen. He is everywhere there is some action.
I have had 2 beautiful cats from the same breeder in the past,so this temper is very well known in our home.
My bluetortie Penny (and her mother) is out of one of those snuggle-lines, so I know exactly what we will deal with later.

Omar is very beautiful,but the best is his temper. And the temper is more than half the cat and very important at least in my breeding program :-)

Nearly 6 weeks

I will be buisy the whole weekend,so I made some new pictures today.
When the kittens are small babies,I wish they were some weeks older. When they get older,I wish the time did not go so terrible fast :-)
Every age-period has its charm. But when in comes to making pictures of the babies,it gets harder week by week.
In this litte we have one of each. Titania is a very energic girl who must be everywhere. She will be more than a "pawfull" for her new owners. But she is really a charmer.
Fayette is another type. She have some minutes she actually can sit still and therfor I manage to make some few pictures today of her.

Tomorrow the twins will be 5 weeks old. We are just one day before with our modelling job,because the temperatures are so lovly today.

I have decidet to not keep any,but let one of them go in silverbreeding program.

Fayette was my plan all the time,but there have might come a little luxery problem.

She has all the time looked very silverish in her face.

There can be a tiny chance that their mother( and grandma and great grandma) actually are silver-siamese cats,but have been registrated wrong when they was babies.

Silver and siamese can very often be hard to see and we can not gene teste for it at the time.

I can not do anything about it,because in my papers they are non-silvers.

The kittens grandma has lived in my home,and in my eyes she was a beautiful sealpointed siamese,and for me their mother,Maiden is a beautiful bluepointed siamese.

There is also another possibility. Fayette is maby not a silver baby, but have frosted/fevercoat in her face and neck. Then it will disapear when she grows.

But I do not want to take any chances.

I love silvercats and had also one in the past. But then it was a correctly pedigree :-)

Fayette have in my eyes the best type,but both girls have wonderful temper and wonderful breeding qualitees.
But they will change alot in the next couple of weeks,so who knows, we might be surprised:-)

I had so many plans of photo decorations with the kittens, but I gave up.
4 weeks of age is the early start of naughtyness :)
The twin girls are very different in personalities.
Titatia have allways been the laidback one, and Fayette the stubborn. It is still like this,but they are so sweet and darling babies.
In the middle of their 3 weeks period,both started to eat dry kitten food and drink water.That is very early and they are so clever.
To compear them to their mother,Maiden,who was 16!! weeks before she wanted to come near a dry food bowl, she did only want to eat wet food.
I think Fayette have fever coat,because she is a little "silverish",but she is for sure not a silver kitten. Anyway,that will disapear in some weeks.

Another week has gone and our twin girls are 3 weeks old.
They have now moved down in the kitchen.
Mommy Maiden loves to spend time with us downstairs again.
Titania and Fayette have been real babies,who have don't have ne need of exploring more than the milkbar - but this has change over night.
They climb with their small feets over the little bed they are living in,and over to walk on a little carpet in the kitten-pen.
Maiden puts them inside again right away,but I think those 2 girls will be troublemakers,and bring some more "grey hair" on Maiden.
Well,this is so typical for this breed. They are so corious,and it starts early :-)
The Easter is close by, so for this week,we have used some yellow flowers together with the kittens.

I really love the Spring, it is my favorite season of the year. Not cold,and not too hot.
The nights are still a little cold,so I will wait some more time before all the furnitures and flowers will be decorate the porch.
The cats love to spend time outside in the fresh air.
I bought a little flower wagon, and my son helped me put it together.
Little Penny thought it was for her, after she had helped him the best she could. She is very helpfull :-)
It is fun to follow their developing,they are very different in type and look, but all 3 of them are so sweet and loving in temper.
Rufus,our main coon maskot is almost living outside the porch daytimes wanted also to sneak up on the blog:-)

Another week has gone. Something funny has happened this week. We discovered we have 2 black girls in the basket, instead of one of each.
The smallest girl is not a micro kitten any longer, but it will take some time for her to look like her sister,who at the moment look more like a "brittish",than a osh baby :-)
They have also got new names after I discovered the sex-change.
Both girls will be named after fairytales-fairys.
The biggest girl is named "Titania",who means " Fairy Queen" and the smallest is named "Fayette", who means "Little Fairy.

The weather has been very warm and nice today, so the babies was with me outside for a very short time.

Pearl has been treated for closed pyometra earlier this year, so we hopes that Leo is ready for making babies.
They are doing their very best at the moment,so please cross fingers with us.
This is for us a dream-combination.
Leo has a very good type and got everthing Pearl need a little more of.
We have not been gene-tested Leo for the classic gene,but we can allways hope he carries that too,since Pearl is a classic tortie.
Time will tell, it will be 3 weeks of waiting to see if she has become pregnant,and then 6 more weeks with waiting for the babies.

By midnight our 2 black panthers will be 1 week old. They are so sweet but very different.
The biggest is very satisfied if he can eat,sleep,eat and eat some more.The only time we notice she has his own meanings,is when she is not eating:-)
To compear her to her sister,they are like day and night.
The little girl have a meaning about everything,she speak load and clear and want to do alot of things at the same time.
While the big girl was laying on the blanket happy and calm while my camera was on, her sister wanted to to the oposite of course :-)

(Few days after I did publish the 1 weeks pics of the babies,we discovered both was girls :D )

After sevreal days with waiting,the babies wanted to come out. They are born with 1hour between. One before midnight,the other after. So I am not sure what birthdate I will chose for them yet.

This litter was not planned by us,but by the cats. That can happen somethimes,but I love them anyway:-)

Finally,after month of waiting, our beautiful seychellois boy, Von Ladas Leonardo is home.
He is so tender and sweet.
He became friends very fast with our girls.

I don't know if it is possible to thank his breeder enough for her kidness to let me have him.

Now we are waiting for some warmer weather,and the Spring to come, and we are waiting for Pearl to call :-)

Maidens babies are getting big. One little girl has allready moved out.
Oh!Darling went to the North of Norway today,and 2 others will leave later this week.
It will for sure feel empty after this happy gang of holigans.
I am happy that at least one of the girls will be staying. But at the same time, they are so naughty now,that some peace and quiet is good for my whole body :-)

I made some pictures of them yesterday and this is what they looks like now,soon 4 month old.

Destiny is strange

Sometimes you pick a kitten,sometimes the kittens pick you.
Me and Desiree, Omars breeder, has now been close friends for some years.
This is a friendship I am so greatful to have.
It is nice to have the possibility to cooperate with others also outside Norway.

I was suppose to, maby have a tortie girl kitten from Desiree. But things happens,I belive they happens for a reason. This tortie girl stayed in the cattery instead.
I was not in any hurry.
Last year "my kitten" finally was born,but destiny wanted it different again,so this beautiful kitten was sold as pet.
There was another litter too at the same time, and there was Omar.
It has been very fun to follow the kittens development. Very nice litter, but the colour was not interesting at all. Cinnamons are for special breeders,and this colour is not my colour at all. I prefer black and blackspottet:-)

The other kittens in the litter has found their homes,but Omar was still there.
He has charmed the whole house,the people and even the dogs.

And he has smeltet my heart totally.
I can see so much of Tenor in him, his "uncle" that lived in our home,and who I miss so much.
The only reason that Omar is still at home,is because they had not found the right owners for their little heartbreaker. I know that feeling too well. Some kittens is harder to let go.

So later this year, this beautiful boy will be a member of our home.
My very first cinnamon. He could be green or pink, whatever, I love this mini-Tenor personality so so much.

A girly Sunday

It is special to have a whole litter in the same colour,and it is fun to have 3 girls.
So this Sunday we had a real mother and daughter day.
Maiden is very difficult to make pictures of,so when I seldom have some one that shows her beauty, I want to share them.

Finally the extreme cold weather has taken a little break. So today the kittens was with me outside for a very short time to be Winther models:-)
Now they have the the 1.floor to run and play on,and they love it.
Few days ago I woke up with the kittens in my bed. They had a lovly time,but they was not suppose to be there. But since it was so cold, Maiden tought a warm bed was more cosy than the cold 1.floor, until I woke up and got some more wood to my fireplace.
So, yes, siamese are highly inteligent:-)

Those blue little monsters are more and more active day by day. And beside their genes, they have bigsister and Pearl to learn them how to not behave...
Please Please me and Revolution are the wildest,but the 3 others are for sure not any angels either - I am amazed over that my curtains still are left alone:-)

I am thinking about keeping 2 girls in the litter,but have not quite decide it yet.
But Revolution has run in to my heart,and is very similar to her mother,both on insde and outside.
So maby maby...time will tell.

Today my kittens can celebrate their 6.week.
Usually I make pictures every week.but after 2 hours trying my very best, I gave up.
Their mother was a very active baby,together with her sisters,and her babies again have the same spirit of life :-)
So I gave them some boiled chicken instead,and then they had time to lay still for quite a while.

At the same time I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year.

Today the kittens are 5 weeks old.
They are very active and so charming,they charm everyone they meet.
The purring little monsters will soon enter my half part of the livingroom,and I think they will be very happy for that.
Until now they have the kitchen to walk on. The toilet training went like a dream,and they love to eat many sort of food as well.

5 weeks of age is the worst age in many ways. They do not look like the elegant siamesis they are,and they have so many other things to do,than sitting still infront of the camera.
I tried and did my very best,and here are the days result.

The kittens are growing and are developing very nice. Last weekend they moved down in the kitchen and Maiden is very satisfied with that.
Since I prefer to make my photoes outdoors...and since it is too cold to take the kittens outside, I need to depend on the early morning sun to try to get some ok pictures without the red blitz eyes.
Today it was such morning :-)

I have decidet who I will keep from this litter now. If it was up to my heart,I would not sell any of them. This kittens are heartbreakers all 5 of them.

The first single-pictures of my "Beatles" litter

This litter is half American on both sides of the pedigree,and I am very exited to follow the developing of this litter. Both parents has amazing eyecolor,very elegant and have super temperament.
Father to this litter is Shagio-Chen Moon Sparkle SYS e, a very laidback and sweet boy.
Mother is my precious (N)Attack's Maidens Blush SIA a who are extremly talkactive and a purring little monster I am proud to have breed in the past.
The pedigree of the litter will be published later,when my internet at home is working again.

The kittens was born in under 1 hour,and Maiden has proven to be a exellent mother. She loves her babies dearly and have her milkbar open for them 24/7.
The boys are the smallest in the litter,but is growing very well.
I think there is only one kitten that at the moment that have a more similar personality from their father,the rest are like their mother. But of course that can change.
4 out of 5 kittens have much to talk about allready:-)

This will be the last pictures of this litter together on my blog.
They turned 12 weeks old yesterday.
It has been 12 fun and charming weeks together with them. It was very noticable with 3 boys and 1 girl running around our feets all this weeks.
I am so happy that the whole litter will have such nice eye color.

I did get time for some photoes after all. But it is getting harder every week.They have so much else to do,than sit still:-)
Urban has grown alot the last week,and are soon as big as the siamese brothers.

Urban and Moonlight will move to their new homes in few weeks,and they will live in the same town.
I am so happy that both of them will have so nice homes. That is very important for me.

In Norway we do not celebrate Halloween in the same way like they do in USA.
But we have a pumkin, and we have Leah.
My sister made that pumkin to me many years ago.
Leah looks like she has eaten all the treats long before the celebration even starts:-))

I will not be able to make 11 weeks pictures of the kittens,so I will publish some others close to the date .

Moonlight is so charming with his kink,and he is for sure a boy. He plays very rough and can't wait for any snacks to come on a plate on the floor. So he is very fast to climb up my pants.
He has developed very nice points and his eyes are wonderful dark blue. And the best : he loves to snuggle under a blanket with anyone.

Then it is Urban Gothic. He has his thing for some certain toys,and he tells us loud and clear. He has made us laugh alot of times for that. But all in all he is a very sweet boy. Urban was the smallest in the litter for a very long time,so he is a little stubborn. There is one big favo spot in our home,when there is hot by the fireplace,we know where to find him.

And the only girl in the litter, Devils Daughter. She is colorful both on her outside and her inside. And is so much alike her mother,Hagia in many ways. Since she has grown up with 3 brothers and bigsister,Pearl she do not have girly-attitude. And if we or other guest miss any food we know who has stolen it....just go after the sound of *grrrrr mine mine nomnomnom*.

And our other sealpointed boy , Charmed.
He is a wild boy,who loves to play with the big boys. He also loves human feets,much more than we like his teeth:-) He will stay here in our future breeding program - at least for a while.

Maby the rest of the nice Autumn weather is over? I prefer to take photos outside,but now I am forced to make my photoes inside. The kittens doesn't mind.
Leah has been with us in 1 week now,and she is a funny little devil. She has learned the smaller kittens alot of naughty things and has become best friends with Pearl.

Urban our red sunshine boy is still looking for his home and so is Moonlight.
Moonligh got a little kink in his tail,so he will be more than happy to just be a pet in a spoiled home.

Alot has happen the last week. The kittens have now the whole first floor to run an play,and they love it.
They are also spending some time on the porch when the sun is high.
Their personalities has started to develop and it seems like Urban and Charmed are more like their mother - Hagia in temper- happy monkies that are high and low.
At the moment are Moonlight and Devils Daughter more like their father, Moony. Calm and sweet.

I was the whole time thinking I wanted to keep the girl,but this week I have change my mind.
He is my dream boy, by type - a wannabe-American siamese.
There is a home that are waiting for him, hopfully,but first he will give us some kittens in future if everything turns out well.

The kittens parents will both be neutred soon,so I had to keep something:-)

Urban has also developed very nicly the last week. And so has Devils Daughter. Moonlight is still in his "funny age",and har hard to get corectly on pictures. So this combination was very interesting to do. I hope its contiune this way. It is better when the type need to develop,than development that stop too soon.

Von Ladas Leah

Leah is a harlequin oriental girl from Svetlana Vinik - von Ladas - in Germany.
I saw some pictures of her when she was only 2 weeks old,and fell in love right away.
When her friend, Thomas at Mi-Thos Cattery told me she was avalible I was thrilled.

The whole litter is very outstanding special and the pedigree as well,for my breeding.

My friend Pernille, at (N)Manhunter's Cattery wanted to welcome Leah at the airport too,and Leah found her jacket very safe.There she sat and was purring and purring. We all know how much Pernille loves "cows",so I had to check one more extra time when she went to her home,and I to the train station :-))

Leah will have a lot of new friends here,and we can't wait to get to know her.
We know she is a charming little purring-monster allready.

There is nothing sweeter than group pics of kittens. But oh my,so hard to get nice.
Today I made it,but sudden my extern blitz needet new batteries,and I did not have any more at home.
Well.... I want to post the pictures anyway.
The kittens are 7 weeks and 5 days old. We will take new pictures in the weekend maby. Depends on the weather.

And I think my dream came true. It is not a secret that I love the American type of an oriental cat.They are a bit more elegant and have a certain look that I love so much.
The problem is of course that the kitten is a boy,and he should go to a nice cattery instead of beeing home....
But maby it will all work out nicly - I am in no hurry.

The kittens are named after Vampires movies,since they are born on a real horror movie date.

The weeks goes so fast. It feels like they were born yesterday.
Now they has enter half my livingroom and are very happy for that.
They get more and more naughty day by day.
Moonlight is not like his sibllings. I think he got most of his temper from his father. He is such a sweet boy,with time to sit in our lap.
The other kittens are like their mother. They love action and to play - either with eachother or us,have seldom time to sit still,and they are very courius and helpfull with us humans.
And their roll modell is no other than bigsister Pearl,so she learn them alot of naughtiness for sure:-)

Devils Daughter will either stay or maby she have a good home waiting for her.
Urban Gothic has most likly his new home and Charmed as well. But you can still contact me if you are interested.

But Moonlight is looking for a nice home.

The kittens are growing and developing very nicly.
In type they are very different to eachother. Charmed are more the American type.
Last night I got my own little mini-studio with spot lights. It is my hope for our Winther litters to make nice pictures inside.
But I still have to learn the new stuff.
Devils Daughter and Urban Gotich were the first test models.

Somethimes later in this week I will know if any of my boys will be avalible,and will update my blog about it as soon as I know something more.

Alot has happened the last week. The kittens has moved in to the kitchen, in a safe little kitten-run.
The next couple of weeks they will learn to use the litter box,eat and drink.
The girl has already understood the litter box and little Urban is an expert to drink water.
And all 4 of them are such sweet personalities.
Big sister Pearl love her siblings alot and are often to be spottet in the kitten-run.

The Autum has arrived here in Norway and it is not cosy anymore to spend time on the porch. Rufus, our coon think the temperatures are super,but not the others.
But we did made some pictures of the charming gang outside anyway.

Today it was sunny outside,so we went out on my porch. It is a little easier to make ok pictures of siamese kittens outside.
The kittens are growing and are very courius. They know there is a life outside the kitten box,and I think they will move in less than a week. Then it is time to be kitchen terrorists:-))
I love the babies so much,but the tortie has totally stolen my heart.
Well I am a tortie-holic,so I should not be surprised.
And the siamese boys did "change" their colours the other day.From blue to seal. I am not sad about that.
I have not had any seal pointed baby homebreed since 2004.

The kittens are now 19 days old.
I love to make photoes of them,but it is not easy to make any nice photoes of pointed babies,inside a half dark livingroom by night time. But by the weekend,we are going outside,on the porch.
So better pics are comming.

They have become very social now. I want to share a movie,there are alot of sound,alot that needet to be said. "Pick us up, pick us up" :-))

Pearls litter sister, Wish, was also at SØRAK this weekend. Her fully name is (N)Attack's Wish I could fly to BatStar. She is own by my very good friend, Hanne - at (N)BatStar cattery,and lives with Tove in Oslo.
Today she was nominated for Best in show.

This little boy is very special to me. He is son after my 2 absolutly soulmates , (N)Attack's Fashion Avenue OSH n25 and Major Little Stuart *CZ.

He moved to his new home after a show in June,and is owned by a wonderful 13 year old girl and her family in Kristiansand.
I think it was destiny that brought them together. The girl was not suppose to have any new kitten,but Hungry Eyes did choose her.It was pure love at first sight for both of them.

Today there is a cat show in Kristiansand, SØRAK and a very proud owner could tell me that he was nominated.
Maby he gets Best in Show kitten by the end of the day? Crossing my fingers,because those 2 are a very special team - soulmates :-)

Friday the 13th of August 7 kittens wanted to see the daylight. Everything went very well. 3 girls and 4 boys - and my grandma heart loved them right away. We did not get any bico kittens this time,but maby they will come next time instead?
Breeding is happyness and sadness side by side.And in the first week after the birth we lost 3 of the kittens. One little boy that was very small, and 2 sia/sys girls - probably of an umbilical infection. It happened very fast,from beeing big healthy kittens to beeing very ill.
It is better to loose any the first birth week,than later,but my heart was bleeding for my little angels.
But the best thing is looking forward and be happy for what we have,not what we have lost.

Today the kittens are 13 days and the rest of them are doing super.There is 1 red oriental boy and 2 bluepointed siamese boys. And a very colorful lady, a black tortie charmer.

Father to these kittens are Shagio-Chen Moon Sparkle Sys e 03,
and the mother is Hagia Egregius Osh f.

The tortie girl have big possibilities to be a very tough personality when she grows up with 3 brothers,a very naughty big half sister and their uncle Rufus-coon that love babies to peaces. The boys has not got any strong personlities yet. The are just very laidback and happy in the milkbar.
